This resource is exclusively available through your employer. Pure Psychology Services believes in inclusive and shared accountability for the provision of mental health support across the Australian employment sector.

An employer-first initiative that paves way to mentally healthier employees, mentally healthier workplaces and a better future for all. Scalable within the conventional and remote workplace settings, MyBrief incorporates ten core stress-management strategies, underpinned by psychotherapeutic approaches of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT).

The app comprises built-in strategies that assist employees in improving the management of their stress levels, unhelpful thoughts, awareness raising and enhanced insight into unhelpful pattern of thinking and behaviour. The app is designed to assist with the development of healthy workplace routines through built-in tasks that assist individual employees to commence their working day with a clear mind and orient themselves to their workday. This is achieved through an inbuilt daily starting ritual that comprises a five-minute cognitive stress-management strategy.

Through the development of regular workplace rituals of self-care, the app in turn empowers employees to continuously invest in the maintenance of their sense of wellbeing. It further draws on personal and external resources to better navigate through day-to-day workplace struggles and experiences. It includes an additional component specifically designed to assist employees with the management of critical incidents which they may experience as part of their workplace setting. This is specifically addressed through an incorporated “Critical Incident Debriefing” section, which assists employees in expressing and organising their experience pertaining to the critical incident. The app guides employees to express and process the critical event according to different components of memory formation, thus serving as first response debriefing. This approach further provides the opportunity for the employee to begin processing well before having the opportunity to debrief through other traditional systems of supports (i.e. debriefing with management).
